Graduating from University of Queensland in 1998 with MBBS (1st year Hons), Dr Wendy went on to pursue a career in surgical training with the Royal Australiasian College of Surgeons

She spent 4 years training in General Surgery, and a further 4 years in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in various accredited posts throughout Australia

Now Dr Wendy is a fully qualified GP with RACGP Australia. Throughout her 26 years of continuous medical practice, Dr Wendy has worked in various areas of cardiac, vascular, hand, breast and microsurgery; honing fine hand skills needed to complete these tasks. She continues to assist in these areas today as well as being a GP across 2 practices in Brisbane

She also attained a certificate in Acupressure Massage from ACNM at the age of 16 and a certificate in Makeup from Napoleon Perdis so she could volunteer for “Look Good, Feel Better” survivors of breast cancer
